How it works
- The installation package sits outside the web folder and is returned only to sites with a valid license.
- Licenses are stored as hashes and bound to a domain name; the site sends its key and domain when checking for updates.
- A license can have an expiry date; an expired site still has its last check recorded.
- Every download is logged for statistics.

Security
- The endpoint is rate limited.
- Version information and source code are not public without a license.
