# Turn off Email Summary

> The plugin sends a periodic summary email - how to turn it off.

The plugin sends a periodic summary email of your backups (successes/failures). The default is weekly.

## Turn it off in the UI

**SL Migrations → Settings → General**:

- **Email Summary**: choose **Off**
- Or change the level to **Errors Only** (only sends when something fails)

Save → the cron event is unscheduled.

## The levels

| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| **All** | Sends every event (every build) |
| **Errors Only** | Only sends when a build fails |
| **Summary** | 1 periodic summary email (default) |
| **Off** | Sends nothing |

Recommended: **Errors Only** if you want to track failures without being spammed.

## Custom recipient

By default it sends to the site's `admin_email` (see **Settings → General**). Change it in:

**Settings → Email Summary → Recipient** - enter a different email.
