# VAT invoices for genuine products

> An option to request a VAT invoice at checkout, supporting mixed carts (VAT is issued only for the genuine items).

At the **Checkout** step, customers can choose **Xuất hoá đơn VAT** (Issue a VAT invoice). The theme handles **mixed carts** correctly (genuine and imported products together).

## How it works
- The **Xuất hoá đơn VAT** (Issue a VAT invoice) option appears when the cart contains **at least one genuine product**.
- For a **mixed cart**, a clear note says that **VAT is issued only for the genuine items** (with quantity and amount); imported items are not part of the invoice.
- The order stores the genuine-items information for the accounting team to process; the order admin screen shows the details of the part that qualifies for VAT.

## What do you need to do?
Make sure you **mark "genuine product" correctly** on the product/variation when creating it - the theme then calculates the VAT-eligible portion automatically.
