# Testing and release

## Business tests inside the application
The section *Cài đặt › Kiểm thử nghiệp vụ* (Settings › Business testing) runs dozens of cases (rolling average cost, overlapping periods, COD balances, discounted returns, the trigger that blocks ledger edits, locked periods, and more) against the live engine. Test data is created in **a single transaction that is then rolled back**, leaving no rows behind.

## Browser testing
14 Playwright tests run on a **QA copy** built from the latest backup: every route in two themes and three screen sizes, instant filtering, real clicks on each business button, keyboard and accessibility, malformed URL parameters, search, purchasing and quotes. Tests that write data are hard-blocked if they point at the live instance.

## Release
Build a new Docker image, keep the previous image tag for rollback, back up before applying migrations, and verify again after going live. Every release has a report and a rollback path.
